Directions
  1. Fill a large enough pot to boil your chicken in with water, bring to a boil and add your chicken breasts. Continue to boil the chicken over medium high or medium heat (depends on your stove just make sure it is not boiling over and you do not cover it with a lid!) Boiling the chicken typically takes 15-20 minutes. Make sure your chicken is cooked through. If there is any sign of being raw, place chicken back into water and proceed to boil until cooked all the way through. Once it has cooled enough to safely shred, do so.
  2. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Now add your pieces of cream cheese, 1 cup hot sauce, 1 cup buttermilk ranch, paprika, garlic powder, black pepper, and honey to a small to medium sauce pot over medium low heat and whisk this non stop until everything has been incorporated. Take off heat.
  3. Now you will add the green onion, shredded chicken, 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese, and 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese into your sauce and make sure you coat everything thoroughly. Then you will transfer all of these contents into a large enough casserole dish. Sprinkle the remaining cheese over the dip.
  4. Pop the uncooked dip into the oven and cook for 25-30 minutes. Keep an eye on it as it reaches the 20 minute mark as everyone’s oven differs. You will know it’s done when the dip has melted and you notice a simmering around the edges of the casserole dish. Once you have reached this point, you will then set your oven to a low broil and let the dip stay in there for 2-3 minutes until it has reached a golden cheesy color. Once it has reached this color make sure you take it out quickly to prevent burning. Enjoy!
